A small chest of drawers with rice paper

Today I’d like to show you a small dresser for craft supplies which I decorated in decoupage technique. I used here a big A3 rice paper sheet – this size is something new in A and I truly think you should visit this section in AB Studio store and see the whole range of beautiful AB Studio rice papers.

I painted the sides of my dresser in the way they match paper’s colours and I decorated them using a stencil. As I used rice paper with lace pattern I also added some matching ornaments ( using stencils ) at the top and in the front of it. 

At the end I made it look older using bitumen, added metal handles and furniture knobs which became feet of my dresser.
